Hikes & Advices

Our refuge is located in the highest point of one of the most beautiful circular hikes in the area. Our mountain hut is an ideal starting point to reach different peaks, such as the "Dreiherrenspitze" (3499m), the "Ahrnerkopf" (3051m) and the "Rötspitze" (3495m)

The circular hike

The refuge is situated in the highest point of one of the loveliest circular hikes in the area.

Rötspitze 3495m

The Rötspitze provides an amazing view all over the "Venedigergruppe", a famous mountain chain.

Dreiherrenspitze 3499m

From the peak of the Dreiherrenspitze you can enjoy an extraordinary view over the "Venedigergruppe", a mountain chain.

Ahrnerkopf 3051m

An easy peak for everyone. Reachable in two hours from our refuge.

The Rosshuf is reachable in around 2 to 3 hours starting from our refuge.

Cross over to the Clarahütte or the Essener Rostocker Hütte
